Emergency Water Main Repair – 6″ Pressurized Line Failure
Whitsett, North Carolina
A major 6-inch pressurized water main failure caused a large crater and high-pressure water discharge in a busy travel center parking lot, creating an immediate safety and operational risk. Our team responded quickly to provide emergency water main repair and utility excavation services.
We coordinated directly with the local municipality to perform an emergency water shutoff, allowing repairs to proceed safely. An emergency utility locate was completed to identify underground utilities and ensure safe excavation. Crews and equipment were rapidly mobilized, and the damaged 6″ water line was restored using an emergency repair clamp designed for high-pressure applications.
Following the repair, the excavation was properly backfilled and compacted, leaving the site stabilized and ready for concrete and asphalt restoration. This project highlights our ability to respond to emergency underground utility failures, minimize downtime, and safely restore critical infrastructure in high-traffic commercial environments.
If you’re experiencing a water main break, underground utility failure, or emergency plumbing issue, our team is available to respond quickly and coordinate repairs with local authorities.
